From his roots in the early 90’s with writing and performing all types of music from his solo acoustic work to death metal, Matt Bachand has always proven to be versatile and committed to his craft. In 1996 with the formation of his current main project SHADOWS FALL, (shadowsfall.com)things really began to pick up steam. Before the so-called "New Wave of American Heavy Metal' was even a ripple, Shadows Fall were there. As a launching pad for the band and their first album “somber eyes to the sky”, he formed his own label LIFELESS RECORDS, and not only began distributing his own music but signing on other bands as well.

- Specialist degree in music business from Berklee College of music.

Currently, Matt is not only touring the world with some of the biggest names in music today, He recently built a professional recording facility in his home state of Massachusetts and is producing, engineering, and developing new up and coming artists. Also,=2 0he has (along with his fellow band mates in shadows fall), developed a new company, EVERBLACK INDUSTRIES, that will not only serve as a vehicle for shadows fall, but for other bands and as well.
