What is a LIVE Online Lesson?
A live online lesson, also known as a "session" is simply an online one-on-one interactive lesson or consultation. It is NOT a pre-recorded video lesson; it is a real-time music lesson via Internet/webcam.

YES! Technology has come a long way. Video conferencing is the future of music instruction! Our instructors work with students from all four corners of the world including Europe, Japan, Asia, Australia, South America and more. Our students even include rockstars!
How do I Book a Session?
Easy. You can view and purchase available session slots of each instructor by clicking on their "BOOK YOUR SESSION" link, which is listed in every instructor's profile. Clicking this link will take you to our unique one-of-a-kind Session Calendar. If an instructor is not on tour or in the studio, you will see available times slots. listed in their calendar. You can choose an individual day by clicking on that date in the calendar which will prompt a popup to appear with all available timeslots for that day. Pick one that suits you, fill in your information (Skype, Google Chat, AIM, name, what you'd like to discuss, etc.)and purchase your session by clicking the BUY NOW button. All sessions are purchased through Paypal. Once you've booked your session, both you and your instructor will receive a confirmation email. All you have to do is be online at the designated session time. Your Instructor will contact you at the time of your session.
What makes the Session Calendar so unique?
Ah, glad you asked. This calendar was specifically designed by top-notch programmers to allow a rock star or music professional to add sessions as their schedule allows. This streamlines the process for both the artist and student by automating the entire scheduling process. Now an instructor/student doesn't have to email back and forth to figure out a time that works; session can now be listed as needed, or when the instructor's touring/recording schedule allows. You can view each month, each day and each individual time slot. For more information on a particular session, simply click on any day/time entry and you will learn the Instructor's session length, price, and the instructor's choice for video conferencing (Skype, Google Chat, etc), as well as a detailed description as what is being offered (voice lesson, band management, guitar lesson, etc).
Can I view ALL sessions available?
YES. You can choose to view ONLY the sessions available from a particular Instructor or Advisor, by clicking on “Book Your Session” from within each profile available within both the Instructors and Advisors links OR, you can click on the SESSION CALENDAR link in the left-hand sidebar or by going to rocksource360calendar.com.
What do I need for my session?
You will need the following:
1. A computer
2. A high-speed Internet connection
3. Audio/Video capabilities, including a webcam, headphones or monitor system for hearing your instructor and an audio communication device such as a microphone. A microphone from either a webcam or headphone set will work, but a stand alone microphone is highly suggested.
4. Your Instrument (such as you guitar, keyboard, or your voice, haha).
5. Video Conferencing connection (Skype, MSN, Google Chat...Dependant on what is used by your Instructor).
Okay, I am setup, what now?
Just be online at the designated time and your Instructor or Advisor will contact you. When purchasing a session, make absolutely sure that you input the correct video conferencing email/name, so that your Instructor can contact you. Each Instructor lists their preferred video messaging system within the session info. If they do not have this information, they cannot contact you.
